This is a herd reserved for stallions who are old enough that they have been kicked out of their fathers' herds but have not yet become lead stallion of a herd or obtained a mare. Stallions who are in this herd are constantly practicing their fighting skills so that they may be ready when the day comes to defend their mares or defeat a lead stallion and possess his mares.
