meeting grounds

The meeting grounds are the casually designated area for interaction with other horses. They are a relatively small place: there is a forest, a stream and small lake, a meadow and some rocky hills all within a few square miles that offer a variety of environments to accommodate the comfort zones of many. Young mares usually come here when searching for a new herd, as do stallions who are looking for mares. Foals are also brought here to play with other foals.
