Something Sour A.K.A Sassy Crisp young atmosphere wafted at the blooming fae's tender wide nostrils, uplifting her choppy bleached tassels in a warm updraft. Deep coco portals inspecting the quiet surrounding she'd come to find herself in. Sassy'd crossed paths with a pleasant old mare when she first entered the charming meadow, a delighted smirk crossing her dark muzzle as she remembered the hefty elder bay mare, Hanna was her name, and she'd been kind enough to point her in the direction of the lake just beyond the forest. Arching her freckled boa, her pillars extended into an elegant trot, sturdy mass bond forward. Timber whirled before her, firs, oaks, pines, and cypress, new aromas festering in her nasal passages. A relaxed sigh escaped her lips, the scent of the forest always seemed to calm her, her movements fluent, long, and thunderously cadence. Power filled the mare's body, speed bursting through her columns, Sassy skillfully weaving between trees and leaping downed, decaying hardwood. Sunlight assaulting her dark pools as she burst into a smaller grassland, sun rays glistening against the pond, the fleabitten fae collecting her strides to slow her bodice. She stopped as her hooves landed in the cool pools of crystal liquid. Dropping her crania to the fresh drink, she quenched her thirst, lifting her crown and letting a piercing whinny ripple through her slender throat. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Words- 224 Muse- Okay Notes- N/A

Catheral was grazing, waiting for any sign of a mare nearby when at last one came. His head shot up, strands of young, green grass still protruding from his silky lips, which then parted to return a quavery neigh of his own to let the stranger know he was on his way. He started off at a trot, long-strided and flowing, weaving between trees young and old in pursuit of the call he knew could be so evasive. Several times now he had heard a whinny, just like now, and had not been able to find the one who had voiced it. But Cath would not let that get him down. Nothing like that could do such a thing to his confidence. He had been lead stallion of a small herd with a lovely territory for many years now and he knew that he was capable. His pelt was nicked and scarred to mirror his experience.
Soon he came within view of the mare. She was strangely colored, but it struck the stallion as unique and he liked it. He sped up to a canter, chest puffed out and neck arched in his standard impressive display, and he gradually slowed down as he approached so he would not intimidate the mare away. When a few yards from the spotted horse Cathedral lowered his head, his silver mane falling in front of his eyes and he spoke in a low, quiet voice. "Good morning, miss," he raised his head again and looked at her, admiring her spots. "Normally I would not remark on the appearance of a mare whom I had just met, but this time I cannot resist. Your spots are simply divine." He lowered his head again, not so deep this time, more like a nod. "My name is Cathedral and it is my pleasure to make your acquaintance."

Something Sour A.K.A Sassy Harks flickered forward, a masculine nicker assualting the sensitive cilla within her auds. The rhythmic thundering of steady hooves came next, at first the noticeable pattern of a trot, as his marble gray mass passed through the woods and into the same meadow his tempo changed into a canter. He was elegant in every manner, from his robust craned boa to his athletic pillars holding up his powerful bodice. Sassy just stared in aw at first, amiring his features and well chiseled crown as he dipped it to her. His mane was strands of silver, glistening as the rays of the sun dappled through the open nooks of the trees. Vibrant, noble lyrics escaped his darkly hued kissers, so much expression in his words, though they came out quieter than a mouse searching for a midnight snack. "Good day."
Crania ceased to the brute, her nerves on edge. He didn't seem like he was an evil stag, he looked kind hearted, she was mostly worried about the impression she would make on him. She blushed at the stallion's compliment of her blemished pelt, grinning widely, "Thank you." A sheepish smile covered her plush kissers, "My name's Something Sour, but most call me Sassy. It's a pleasure to meet you uh... I didn't catch your name." She spoke softly, the mare bending her crane to snatch up some of the long waving grass shoots, hoping to settle her nerves.

"Cathedral," The stallion repeated, his tone the same as it had been the first time around. "I've been told many things about my name, that it's interesting, powerful, lovely." He smiled and shrugged. "I guess the important thing is that I like it." He could tell that the mare was nervous, and he too began to pick at the new spring grass, hoping to quiet her butterflies. He knew why she was here and he was sure that she knew why he was here. He had left his only mare, Bella, in search of more females. He had yet to pass on his line, and while still in his prime, he was not getting any younger. Cath had a beautiful, cozy home to return to and he hoped he would have a companion for Bella, who he suspected was feeling lonely without friends besides himself.
Cathedral wanted to say all these things to the mare before him, so he cleared his throat and began: "Sassy, I believe I know why you are here. I am searching for mares for my herd. I have a lovely territory on the mountain and only one other mare, who is kind and welcoming. There is plenty of food and water there now and when summer comes it will be cool there compared to other places. I wish for you to return there with me. You may stay as long as you want and leave whenever you please."

Something Sour A.K.A Sassy "Catheral" was his reply, quite an interesting name that fit the most intriguing stag. Sassy offered the brute a kind and delicate smile as he explained others reactions to his name. Lipping the loose grasses poking from her muzzle before she spoke, "I think it fits you well." She watched him as he too bent down to coolly take in his fill of the jade blades, jealousy washing over her as she watched how relaxed he was, meanwhile butterflies fluttered interminably in her guts. The mare inhaled deeply, letting the exhaled air ripple through her nares as a snort, settling the flies insects a bit. Harks flickered forward, crown rising to the stallion's calm and polite words. Surprise struck her low in her gut, bewildered that the brute had already asked her to join his herd and only barely knew her calling.
Wind whipped at her banner, dragging the strands out into a playful dance, boa arching as she prepared to answer. She cleared her throat, still flabbergasted by his offer, he was willing to bring her to his terra but she was permitted to leave whenever she wished. Most stallions became possessive over their mares, but he seemed different, maybe different enough to make her stay in this lovely terrain. "It sounds lovely Catheral, I would be honored to join you and whom I am assuming is your lead mare, if it wouldn't be too much of a burden on you both." Plush kissers plastered a grin on her profile, coffee orbs gleaming with sheer excitement that she was about to part of something bigger, she was going to have a herd of her own... Hopefully. She knew she was counting her chickens before they hatched but she couldn't control the nonstop thoughts and emotions of finally belonging somewhere else than with her herd of origin. "Tell me of your other mare... If you don't mind." She hadn't meant to sound so demanding, but the words had flown from her loose lips so quickly she hadn't had time to care about how they sounded. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Words- 345 Muse- Guud, I guess. Cath did not recognize the surprise that Sassy felt, and his heart, predictably, leapt with unspoiled joy at the mare's reply to his offer. But he did well not to show it too much. Not too little, though, either, or the mare would think that it meant less to him. With an enthusiastic smile he tossed his head and flicked his tail. "Wonderful," he nickered. So far she was like so many others he had met, who had agreed to return with him, and then left, or disappeared before long. This always bothered him. Was there something wrong with him? With his territory? With Bella? Cath always tried his best to be welcoming, but he knew that mares could sometimes become domineering, and perhaps Bella...no. He would not pin his failings on his first, most loyal mare. She had been all he had for a long time. He would return her loyalty.
The stallion smiled at Sassy's inquiry about Bella. Speak of the devil, he thought and chuckled inwardly. He said, "Certainly. Bella is the first mare who ever joined me. She is kind and understanding and has never strayed. From what I know she seems to make friends easily. Others are drawn to her. I think you will like her. I think she will like you." He smiled at the spotted mare, then dipped his head to take another mouthful of grass.

Something Sour A.K.A Sassy H is cool lyrics settled in her neatly shape harks, this mare he spoke of seemed as though she could be trusted and in time a good friend. Excitement soaked into her blood stream, sending her body into a quiver, her delicate kissers lipping the granite stag's banner. "It sounds great. Do you mind if we start that way?" Sassy knew she was asking a lot of questions but that's what she did when she was flustered. She stepped into a dainty trot, circling the brute, admiring his shape as well as his battle scars. She knew that he had won many battles, she could feel it, though she was sure he'd also lost a few in his day. Halting her frantic pillars, the fae faced the same direction as he, bobbing her crania in an attempt to speed him up. A smirk lurked onto her kissers, her muzzle gently bumping his shoulder, "Whenever your ready dear." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Words- 156 Muse- Pretty lame, rlly bad post srry =\ Notes- N/A
